Short Description:

Monel® K-500 (UNS N05500 / W. Nr. 2.4375) is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-copper alloy that combines the excellent corrosion resistance of Monel 400 with significantly higher strength, hardness and wear resistance. It offers exceptional performance in seawater, brackish water, hydrofluoric acid, alkaline solutions and reducing environments, while maintaining good formability in the solution-annealed condition and enabling further strength enhancement through age hardening after forming.
