Short Description:

Monel® 400 (UNS N04400 / W. Nr. 2.4360) is a nickelcopper solidsolution alloy with excellent corrosion resistance in seawater, hydrofluoric acid, alkaline solutions and reducing media. It has stable mechanical properties from low temperatures up to moderate elevated temperatures, with outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and chlorideinduced stress corrosion cracking, making it one of the most widely used corrosion resistant alloys for marine, offshore, chemical processing and oil & gas applications.
